The 6th Annual St. Catherine Hospital Associate Christmas Tree Auction raised over $4,100 for Benincasa House.  The Benincasa House is similar to a Ronald McDonald House and it is available to St. Catherine Hospital patients and their families.  The house has served hundreds and hundreds of people over the last 15 years and has been a blessing to our patients and their families. 

The money raised from the auction and from other donations is very important to Benincasa because it is a self-sustaining ministry and just like any home it requires upkeep.  Benincasa also provides food, laundry facilities as well as comfort and compassion.

The auction this  year was ev en more exciting because radio station Q-97, a station of Western Kansas Broadcast Center, was there providing a live remote and it was obvious people were listening because the closer it came to the time to end the bidding the more crowded the cafeteria became.  It was a great afternoon of fun, fellowship and knowing that we were fulfilling the ministry and mission of St. Catherine Hospital.
