Garden City Cancer Center welcomes new full-time Medical Oncologist, Dr. Resty Tibayan

Central Care Cancer Center of Garden City would like to welcome Dr. Resty Tibayan as a full time Medical Oncologist, and as a new resident of our community.  Dr. Tibayan is board certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Medical Oncology & Hematology, as well as Geriatrics.  His expertise covers all types of cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, and lymphomas.  

Dr. Tibayan completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital in Manila, Philippines, and also at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.  Dr. Tibayan also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at Seton Hall University, as well as a fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.   

Central Care Cancer Center is very excited to have Dr. Tibayan living in Garden City and practicing full-time.  He will be an exceptional addition to the Oncology team and to the community.  “Joining Central Care Cancer Center has already proven to be such a great decision for me.  It is humbling to be a part of such a caring team of Oncologists.
