EagleMed celebrates Garden City anniversary
Garden City, KS-To celebrate a year since first landing its helicopter in Garden City, EagleMed will have an open house at its base on the grounds of St. Catherine Hospital.
EagleMed and St. Catherine Hospital invite the public to and meet the Garden City crew from 2 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15th in their offices located on the second floor of the old patient towers, 401 E. Spruce. Refreshments will be provided and the crew will give the community a closer look at its air ambulance and answer any questions about services.
“We are extremely proud of the fine job our Garden City crew has done during our first year of helicopter service in the area,” said EagleMed president Larry Bugg. “Our rotor base in Garden City has proved to be a great compliment to our Garden City fixed-wing base. In addition, by working closely with our Dodge City and Liberal fixed-winged bases, our Garden City rotor allows us to build on an unprecedented continuum of care for communities across Southwest Kansas.”
“The addition of the helicopter at St. Catherine Hospital has been an asset to Western Kansas, Eastern Colorado and the Oklahoma Panhandle by bring advanced life-saving critical care air medical service to these areas,” said CEO and President of St. Catherine Hospital, Scott Taylor. “The relationship between EagleMed and St. Catherine has strengthened and will continue to grow in the future.”
