The Wound Care Center at St. Catherine Hospital was recently named the Best of the Best in Wound Care Centers by Curative Health Services.  Kathy Fox, Program Implementation Manager for Curative said, "It gives me great pleasure to award Margene Lagunas with the Best of the Best Award for 2005.  Margene has demonstrated to all of us that clinical and financial success is more a matter of hard work and dedication than the size of your market." 

"This award is even more remarkable due to the fact that throughout much of 2005 her clinic was without a Clinical Manager.  This speaks highly of the people she has brought together at the WCC and how their loyalty and dedication to the patients and each other make this award a clear example of teamwork.  Margene's focus on growth of admissions to the program has shown no absence in her attention to quality, with her healing outcome above 94% and her patient satisfaction at 95% for 2005."
