There were some tense moments at a few minutes to 3 pm on Friday, December 15th in the St. Catherine Hospital cafeteria. The final bidding on the Christmas Trees would end at 3 pm. The 3rd graders from Alta Brown School, our partners in education school, sang some really great Christmas songs to entertain us. And while they were singing, the bidding was going, well, crazy is the only word that comes to mind. Santa Claus was also there to visit with the kids and announce the winners of the “best tree” competition. The winners were 1st place-Cardio Pulmonary, 2nd Place-Administration and
3rd Place-Siena Transcription. At the end of the bidding at 3 pm the grand total raised for Emmaus House was…….$4,347.00. Once again, the Associates of St. Catherine Hospital have given back to the community in a big way. This truly demonstrates the true spirit of the season.
