With an average healing outcome of 95.7%, St. Catherine Hospital is a leader
in the treatment of chronic and nonhealing wounds.
Wound Care Center® programs define a chronic nonhealing
wound as one which has not demonstrated significant
improvement after four weeks, or has not healed completely
after eight weeks. Those most affected are people with
diabetes, vascular problems and pressure sores.
The physicians and staff at the Wound Care Center
offer a comprehensive approach to the treatment
of chronic wounds including a coordinated continuum
of
care and patient education. The Wound Care Center is
the sole provider in western Kansas, eastern Colorado
and the Oklahoma panhandle of interdisciplinary comprehensive
chronic wound management that includes Hyperbaric Oxygen
treatment. |
